- ½ pound lean ground beef
- ½ cup diced yellow onion
- ½ teaspoon salt
- ¼ teaspoon black pepper
- ¼ cup water
- 2 tablespoons taco seasoning
- 8 oz shredded Colby Jack cheese
- 12 oz bag of tortilla chips (use about ⅔ of the bag)
- Optional toppings: sour cream, diced tomatoes, chopped cilantro
Instructions
- Preheat oven to 450°F (232°C) and grease a Bundt pan.
- Cook beef, onion, salt, and pepper in a skillet until browned. Drain excess fat.
- Stir in water and taco seasoning; simmer until thickened.
- Layer half the cheese in the Bundt pan, followed by half the beef and one-third of the chips.
- Repeat layering with remaining cheese, beef, and another one-third of the chips.
- Bake for 10 minutes until cheese melts.
- Invert onto a serving plate and top with optional garnishes.
