- 1 lb ground beef, turkey, chicken, or plant-based protein
- 1 tsp salt
- 1/2 tsp black pepper
- 1/2 tsp garlic powder
- 1/2 tsp paprika (optional)
- Sliced tomato
- Sliced red onion
- Pickles
- Cheese slices (regular or vegan)
- Avocado slices
- Mustard, ketchup, or favorite sauce (check for compliant ingredients)
Instructions
- Wash and pat lettuce leaves dry. Set aside.
- Season and cook the protein of your choice in a skillet over medium heat until fully cooked.
- Lay out 1–2 lettuce leaves per wrap for structural support.
- Place cooked protein in the center, followed by toppings: cheese, tomato, onion, avocado, pickles.
- Drizzle with condiments.
- Fold lettuce around the filling and roll tightly or secure with parchment/toothpicks.
- Serve immediately.
