Buttered Shrimp Recipe

Ingredients

  • 1 lb (450g) large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 4 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 4 garlic cloves, minced
  • 1 tbsp lemon juice
  • Salt and pepper to taste
  • Optional: chili flakes, chopped parsley for garnish

Instructions

  1. Pat shrimp dry and season with salt and pepper.
  2. In a skillet, melt 2 tbsp of butter over medium heat. Add garlic and sauté until fragrant.
  3. Add shrimp and cook 2–3 minutes per side until pink and opaque.
  4. Reduce heat, add remaining butter and lemon juice. Stir to coat.
  5. Garnish and serve immediately with your choice of sides.
