Ingredients
- Ground chicken
- Fresh spinach (chopped)
- Sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)
- Breadcrumbs or almond flour
- Egg
- Onion (finely chopped)
- Garlic powder
- Dijon mustard
- Worcestershire sauce
- Salt & pepper
- Whole wheat burger buns
- Optional: lettuce, tomato, onion, Greek yogurt or aioli
Instructions
- Mix chicken, spinach, cheese, and other patty ingredients in a bowl.
- Shape into 4 patties, pressing a dent in the center of each.
- Cook on a greased skillet or grill over medium heat, 5–6 minutes per side until internal temp hits 165°F (74°C).
- Toast buns, assemble with veggies and sauce, and serve hot.
