  • 1 tablespoon Dijon mustard
  • 1 teaspoon Old Bay seasoning
  • 1/2 cup breadcrumbs (or gluten-free alternative)
  • 1 tablespoon lemon juice
  • 2 tablespoons chopped green onions
  • 1 large egg (optional, for binding)
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Instructions

  1. Prepare: Pick through crab meat to remove any shell bits. Pre-chill all ingredients.
  2. Mix: In a large bowl, gently combine crab meat, mayonnaise, mustard, Old Bay seasoning, lemon juice, green onions, and breadcrumbs.
  3. Shape: Form the mixture into baseball-sized crab bombs. Chill for 20–30 minutes.
  4. Cook:  To bake: Preheat oven to 375°F (190°C). Bake for 12–15 minutes or until golden brown. To fry: Deep-fry in oil at 350°F (175°C) for about 3 minutes until crispy.
