Instructions

Prepare the Filling: Cook apples with butter, sugars, cinnamon, and lemon juice until tender. Thicken with cornstarch. Cool completely.

Prep the Pastry: Roll out the puff pastry and cut into 4×4-inch squares.

Assemble Turnovers: Add apple filling to each square, fold into triangles, and seal edges. Make slits on top for steam to escape.

Bake: Brush with egg wash and bake at 400°F (200°C) for 15-20 minutes or until golden.
