For the Shrimp:

  • 1 lb large shrimp, peeled and deveined
  • 2 tbsp unsalted butter
  • 6 garlic cloves, minced
  • Zest and juice of 1 lemon
  • 1 cup chicken broth (or seafood broth)

For the Sauce & Filling:

  • 4 tbsp butter
  • 1 cup heavy cream or half-and-half
  • 1 ½ cups ricotta cheese
  • ½ cup grated Parmesan cheese
  • 1 ½ cups shredded mozzarella
  • 1 tsp Italian seasoning
  • Salt and pepper to taste

Other:

  • 9 lasagna noodles, cooked or oven-ready
  • Fresh parsley (for garnish)

Instructions

  1. Sauté garlic in butter, then cook shrimp until pink; deglaze with lemon juice and broth.
  2. In a saucepan, melt butter and add cream. Stir in ricotta, Parmesan, and seasonings until smooth.
  3. Preheat oven to 375°F.
  4. In a 9×13” dish, layer sauce, noodles, shrimp, mozzarella, and repeat for 3 layers.
  5. Top with cheese and bake covered for 25 minutes.
  6. Uncover and bake 10–15 minutes more until golden and bubbly.
  7. Let rest 10 minutes. Garnish with parsley and serve.
