Ingredients
1 lb jumbo shrimp, peeled and deveined
4 cloves garlic, minced
¼ cup extra virgin olive oil
3 tbsp fresh lemon juice
½ tsp red pepper flakes
1 tbsp fresh parsley, chopped
½ tsp sea salt and black pepper
Zest of 1 lemon (optional)
½ tsp smoked paprika (optional)
1 tbsp capers (optional)
Instructions
Prepare the marinade – Mix olive oil, lemon juice, garlic, red pepper flakes, salt, and black pepper in a bowl.
Marinate the shrimp – Toss the shrimp in the marinade and let sit for 15-20 minutes.
Skewer the shrimp – Use metal skewers or soaked wooden skewers for even grilling.
Grill the shrimp – Preheat the grill to medium-high heat (375-400°F), grill the shrimp 2-3 minutes per side until opaque and slightly charred.
Serve immediately – Garnish with fresh parsley and a squeeze of lemon. Serve over pasta, rice, or with grilled veggies.
