- 1 lb ground beef (80/20)
- 1/4 cup breadcrumbs
- 1 egg
- 1 small onion, grated
- 1 tbsp Worcestershire sauce
- 1 tsp garlic powder
- Salt and pepper to taste
- 2 tbsp butter
- 1/2 onion, sliced
- 1 cup sliced mushrooms
- 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
- 2 cups beef broth
- Salt and pepper to taste
Instructions
- Mix beef, breadcrumbs, egg, onion, Worcestershire, garlic powder, salt, and pepper. Form into oval patties.
- Brown patties on both sides in a hot skillet. Set aside.
- In the same skillet, sauté onions and mushrooms in butter until soft.
- Stir in flour and cook for 1 minute. Gradually whisk in beef broth to make gravy.
- Return patties to skillet. Simmer for 10–12 minutes until cooked through and gravy thickens.
