Ingredients
2 cans tuna (drained)
1 egg
2 tbsp mayonnaise (or Greek yogurt)
1/4 cup breadcrumbs (or almond flour for keto/gluten-free)
1/4 cup diced onion or shallot
1 tbsp Dijon mustard
1 tbsp chopped parsley
Salt & pepper to taste
1/3 cup shredded cheddar, mozzarella, or Swiss (plus more for topping)
Optional Add-ins:
JalapeΓ±o or chili flakes
Pickles or relish
Lemon zest
Instructions
- Combine all ingredients (except cheese topping) in a mixing bowl.
- Form into 6β8 patties.
- Optional: Chill for 10β15 minutes for easier handling.
- Pan-fry over medium heat (3β4 minutes per side) or bake at 400Β°F (200Β°C) for 18β20 minutes.
- Top with cheese and melt under a lid or broiler.
- Serve warm with lemon wedges and herbs.
